Pay data reporting
A requirement for employers to report pay by job category, sex and race or ethnicity to a regulator.
Pay data reporting laws require larger employers to file pay statistics, broken down by demographic group and job category, with a state agency. California and Illinois both have reporting requirements, and the EU directive adds pay-gap reporting.
Reporting is a separate obligation from posting ranges, but both draw on the same pay structure.
