Check every Greenhouse posting for pay-transparency compliance
Scan every open role on your Greenhouse job board for pay-transparency violations. Paste your boards.greenhouse.io URL and see which postings are missing a compliant pay range or benefits language.
Greenhouse lets you add pay ranges to postings, but it does not tell you which state laws apply to a role or whether the range you entered satisfies them. That check usually happens in someone's head, once, before the job goes live.
PayTransparency reads your public Greenhouse board and checks every open posting at once, so you can see the gaps across all of your roles instead of one at a time.
How it works
- Copy your board URL. It looks like boards.greenhouse.io/yourcompany or job-boards.greenhouse.io/yourcompany.
- Paste it into the scanner. Every open role on the board is pulled and checked against the laws for its location.
- Fix what it flags. Each violation names the rule it breaks and what to change. Edit the posting in Greenhouse and re-scan.
Board URL format: boards.greenhouse.io/yourcompany
Greenhouse specifics
- Pay ranges in Greenhouse can be shown in the posting body or in a separate pay-transparency field. The scanner reads what candidates see on the public board, so it catches a range that was entered but not displayed.
- Roles posted to multiple locations are checked against each location's law.
Questions
Do I need to give PayTransparency access to my ATS?
No. The scanner reads the same public job board candidates see. There is no login, API key or app to install, and nothing is written back to your ATS.
What does it check?
Each posting is checked against the pay-transparency rules for every place the role can be performed: whether a pay range is present and specific enough, whether benefits or bonus language is required, and whether a remote role pulls in another state's law.
